The Writing Center’s Loop Outpost is now open for tutoring Monday through Thursday from 4-6pm in the Adult Student Center (on the 11th floor of the DePaul Center). The Lincoln Park Outpost– open Tuesday through Thursday from 12-5pm– will open for tutorials tomorrow, January 17, on the first floor of the Richardson Library. Since tutors will be available at each location to accommodate writers on a drop-in basis, you do not need to schedule an appointment to meet with a tutor in the Outpost, which is certainly one of many reasons to get in on the Outpost!

For more information about the Writer Center Outposts, visit the UCWbL’s webpage on “Drop-in Outposts.”

Spoiler Alert! I’m excited to announce that the Writing Center will be staffing a brand new outpost soon. The outpost will be in a Science and Math Learning Center on the Lincoln Park Campus. Our tutors will be there to offer feedback on writing with numbers, graphs, and charts. It should be a great opportunity for the math, science, and writing tutors to collaborate and exchange expertise. Stay tuned…more to come.
